The acronym in English HDTS or High Definition Telesync , can be translated in Spanish as ‘high quality telesynchronized’, and refers to the fact that both audio and video have been captured by high definition devices separately, being then synchronized.

Video is obtained from a high definition recorder, while audio is captured directly from a connection to the sound projection device in the theater, or from headphone jacks located in the seats.

The quality of the audio is much better than what would be obtained if the audio had been recorded from the ambient sound of the theater, since only the audio of the film is captured in high quality.

A high definition camera is used to carry out the recording, often mounted on a tripod or some stabilizer.

As with CAMRip, HDTS ripping in movie theaters is illegal and screenings are protected by copyright and commercial rights.

On many occasions, the name of an audiovisual file appears as with the extension “.DVDRip”, but this does not mean that it is in a DVD format, but rather that the file was extracted from a DVD.

As with DVDRip, BDRip files contain different types of media, extracted from the original Blu-Ray file or added to it. The original Blu-Ray data is large, so it takes up a lot of space. Hence, for distribution, the BDRip are recoded and go through a compression process.

What is an HDTVRip?

An HDTV ( High Definition TV ) or high quality television refers to the signal sent from some analog (cable or normal television) or digital service, as well as the device that receives it (TV). The HDTVRip is an audiovisual file in which the digital extraction comes from a transmission of a television channel (cable, satellite, etc.).

The recording of this type of file is carried out through a device connected to a television set or captures the signal from a digital or satellite transmission, as is the case with a digital recording and conversion box.

Even if the HDTV signal is of high quality, the HDTVRip may present a different quality, due to the compression of the file to reduce its size.

In general, these files offer better quality than DVDRip and BDRip. The resolution and quality are high, reaching 2160p (4k), considered as ultra high definition (UHD, for its acronym in English).

The WEBRip capture is carried out by means of the personal computer, a capture card or a digital recording box, during the reproduction of the original audiovisual medium (a series on Netflix, for example).

This means that the file can present logos and different types of advertisements during its reproduction, which are embedded ( harcoded ) in it.

The quality of a WEBRip is generally high, although this may be slightly lower than that of a file known as WEB-DL . The latter refers to a file that is downloaded directly from a service that distributes it online, preserving its original quality.

The resolution reaches 2160p (4k) or UHD. However, they are also distributed compressed, with resolutions of 720p and 1080p.

Making a WEBRip, distributing it or commercializing the transmissions of online services, is generally prohibited .
